<title>Nerd Culture changed the description of the group Los Angeles D&#38;D Players and Tabletop Roleplaying Groups from "Find Your Party in Los Angeles

Looking for a D&#38;D group in Los Angeles? Welcome to your local quest board.

This free Nerd Culture group is for D&#38;D players in LA, Dungeon Masters, new adventurers, forever DMs, roleplayers, dice goblins, miniature painters, worldbuilders, and anyone hoping to meet people who love tabletop roleplaying games.

Whether you want to join your first campaign, find players for a homebrew adventure, organize a one-shot, meet a local Dungeon Master, or connect with tabletop RPG fans near you, this is a friendly place to start.

Nerd Culture is completely free to use. You can create a profile, join groups, search for players, organize events, use group discussions, message other members, and connect with local or online adventurers without platform fees or paywalls.

A City Built for Storytelling

Los Angeles is one of the best cities in the world for creative play. It is full of actors, writers, artists, comedians, game designers, cosplayers, streamers, fantasy fans, horror nerds, sci-fi lovers, and people who know how much fun it is to build a story together.

A great D&#38;D table can feel like an improv scene, a fantasy novel, a strategy game, and a group hangout all at once. In a city as creative and spread out as LA, finding the right table can make all the difference.

This group helps tabletop roleplayers across Hollywood, Koreatown, Silver Lake, Echo Park, Downtown LA, Culver City, Santa Monica, West LA, Burbank, Glendale, Pasadena, Long Beach, the San Fernando Valley, and nearby communities find each other.

Some players are looking for weekly in-person campaigns. Others want online games with local players, beginner-friendly one-shots, character creation help, casual lore discussions, or a place to meet people before committing to a full campaign. All of that belongs here.

More Than Just Dungeons &#38; Dragons

D&#38;D may be the main tavern sign, but this group is open to the wider tabletop roleplaying community.

If you play D&#38;D 5e, the 2024 Dungeons &#38; Dragons rules, Pathfinder 2e, Call of Cthulhu, Cyberpunk RED, Starfinder, Vampire: The Masquerade, Blades in the Dark, Shadowrun, Mothership, Alien RPG, Monster of the Week, Kids on Bikes, Daggerheart, or indie tabletop RPGs, you are welcome here.

Los Angeles has room for every kind of campaign: heroic fantasy, gothic horror, sci-fi survival, cozy fantasy, noir mysteries, tactical combat, political intrigue, monster hunting, comedic chaos, and character-driven drama where the party spends three sessions trying to redeem a villain who was supposed to be a random encounter.

Local Game Stores and RPG Spaces Around LA

Los Angeles has a strong tabletop scene, and local game stores are a big part of that community.

Next-Gen Games in Mid-City LA is a well-known local game store that supports tabletop games, board games, miniatures, and weekly Dungeons &#38; Dragons games. For players near Burbank, Geeky Teas &#38; Games lists D&#38;D Adventurers League events and is another popular spot for tabletop roleplayers in the LA area.

Paper Hero’s Games also has Los Angeles and Sherman Oaks locations, with role-playing games, board games, gaming accessories, community events, and tabletop-friendly space for local players.

This Nerd Culture group can help connect the dots between those real-world spaces and your actual playgroup. Use the group to introduce yourself before visiting a store, find people near your neighborhood, coordinate an online session, organize a home game, or invite local players to join your next campaign.

What You Can Do in This Group

Use this group like a local adventuring board for Los Angeles tabletop players.

Introduce yourself and share your neighborhood, experience level, schedule, and favorite game systems.
Find D&#38;D players in Los Angeles for campaigns, one-shots, character-building nights, and social game nights.
Search for Dungeon Masters, local players, online tables, in-person games, or hybrid campaigns.
Create events for session zero, game nights, beginner workshops, campaign launches, or casual TTRPG hangouts.
Use group discussions to share recaps, house rules, lore, safety tools, campaign updates, and character ideas.
Message other members to coordinate games, check availability, and keep the party connected between sessions.
Find players for D&#38;D, Pathfinder, Call of Cthulhu, Cyberpunk RED, Vampire: The Masquerade, and other tabletop RPGs.

The goal is simple: help Los Angeles tabletop players find better games, better groups, and better community.

Beginners, Veterans, and Forever DMs Welcome

New to D&#38;D? You belong here.

You do not need to know every rule, own a shelf full of books, or have a perfect character voice. If you are curious, respectful, and excited to tell a story with other people, that is enough.

Ask questions, look for beginner-friendly games, join a one-shot, or connect with a Dungeon Master who enjoys helping new players learn the basics.

Experienced players and longtime DMs are just as welcome. Share campaign openings, help newer players, talk about your favorite systems, post worldbuilding ideas, or recruit the final cleric, rogue, wizard, or emotionally chaotic bard your party desperately needs.

Great games happen when people feel safe, respected, and excited to create something together. This group is here to help make that easier.

Community Rules

Help Keep This Group Friendly

This group is here to help Los Angeles tabletop players find games, make friends, and build a stronger local TTRPG community. Please help keep it welcoming.

Make the table welcoming. This group is for new players, experienced players, Dungeon Masters, storytellers, roleplayers, rules nerds, dice goblins, and curious first-timers.
Don’t be a jerk. No harassment, bullying, bigotry, gatekeeping, personal attacks, creepy behavior, or toxic table drama.
Respect consent and table safety. Use session zero, discuss tone and expectations, and respect player boundaries. Horror, romance, PvP, mature themes, and intense roleplay should always be handled with clear consent from the table.
Don’t spam the group. Avoid repeated posts, unrelated promotions, low-effort ads, or flooding the community. DMs, stores, creators, and organizers may share relevant games or events, but posts should be clear, helpful, and community-focused.
Be clear when recruiting players. When posting a campaign or one-shot, include the system, schedule, location or online format, number of players needed, experience level, tone, and whether the game is free or paid.
Support the adventure. Cheer each other on, help beginners learn, share useful resources, and make space for different playstyles. Tactical combat, deep roleplay, goofy chaos, mystery, horror, cozy fantasy, and heroic adventure can all belong at the table.
